Director of Business Development – Healthcare Sector
Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks an experienced Director of Business Development to drive growth and client relationships across multiple regions. Responsibilities include leading business development initiatives, managing client relationships, financial oversight, and portfolio implementation.
Responsibilities- Lead development of client relationship plans focused on satisfaction and new business opportunities.
- Identify, contact, and negotiate with potential clients to close management agreement transactions.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with property owners, brokers, and tenants to support revenue growth.
- Represent Ryan in trade organizations, community events, and industry forums.
- Assist the SVP in creating and implementing the corporate budget; achieve fee targets consistent with the budget.
- Develop quotes, scopes, and fees for new business opportunities; generate revenue for specified regions.
- Coordinate portfolio implementation of client relationships, aligning leasing, tenant improvement, and occupancy functions.
- Analyze market demands, identify gaps, and collaborate with local REM leaders to develop business plans that maximize property value.
- Provide strategic insights for renewal and new leasing strategies to maximize value.
- Promote Ryan’s end‑to‑end service expertise and deliver custom solutions for clients and prospects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a property manager or asset manager in real‑estate or property‑management firm.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining client relationships and navigating brokerage communities.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue‑generation skills.
- High emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Resilience in handling complex situations and driving results.
