Base Salary: $41,300 to $59,700 annualy
Account managers serve as business managers and leaders for assigned account packages in the Twin Cities market. They provide value to customers through Viking Electric’s products and services, growing account volume and profitability while promoting all Viking products and services in a professional and ethical manner.
What You'll Do- Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and ensure each customer uses Viking as their primary source of material.
- Promote and sell Viking’s products, services, and solutions, tailoring a business plan to each customer’s potential and market needs.
- Collaborate with Account Representatives, Project Team associates, and specialists to ensure customers receive quality service, resolve disputes, coordinate credit department efforts, and prospect for new accounts.
- A minimum of four years combined electrical industry experience (City Desk, Account Representative, Project Sales, Specialist, or Operations).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Strong understanding of electric products and Viking Electric services and solutions.
- Good understanding of market and competitors with basic financial skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Strong selling, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
