Job Description
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of current and widely used systems and tactics.
- Must be a self‑starter and require little to no management.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas.
- Make 50‑75 cold calls per day.
- Work closely with engineering and outside sales teams.
- Read engineering files (Solid Works and AutoCAD).
- Call facility and maintenance personnel.
- Have a 3‑year track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Cold call and drive net new business.
- Develop and incorporate unique sales strategies that fit your personality to ensure customer engagement is always increasing.
- Work closely with component suppliers and build great relationships with their team.
- Deliver top‑notch customer service.
- Handle field measurements for replacement conveyor belts, replacement parts, complete recycling systems, or conveyor replacements.
- Help customers obtain correct measurements for sprockets, shafts, bearings, belts, pulleys (with and without lagging), and safety equipment.
- Provide both positive and critical feedback to all team members to ensure continuous growth and enhancement of the product line.
- Have the ability to present complex projects to executive groups and close opportunities that may exceed $1MM.
- Cold call and develop a new customer base from scratch (50‑75 calls per day).
- Always use our internal CRM/ERP platform.
- Meet or exceed quota for your territory (net new business & existing).
- Highly motivated to make money.
