Business Development Manager – Midwest Remote – Midwest Territory
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in the Midwest Territory. This role involves collaborating with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to deliver innovative industrial solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with industrial customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Manage channel partnerships and distributor relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance on product applications and engineered systems, supporting customers in manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using digital tools such as Salesforce.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Industry 4.0 trends and Stanley Black & Decker’s product innovations.
- Ensure superior customer experience through proactive engagement and problem‑solving.
- Travel up to 50% as required by business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills and a self‑starter attitude.
- High mechanical and technical aptitude; eagerness to learn about new industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Industrial environment experience is preferred.
The total target cash compensation range for this position is $84,000–156,000, inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. The role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission.
