Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job OverviewLead early engagement and qualification of prospective customers for Anaplan’s AI‑infused scenario planning platform. Manage inbound and outbound outreach, collaborate with senior sales, and drive meaningful engagement through personalized and data‑driven outreach strategies.
Responsibilities- Initiate and manage early engagement with prospective customers, determining effective channels, messaging, and timing across phone, email, digital, social, and event outreach.
- Evaluate inbound inquiries and independently identify, prioritize, and pursue outbound opportunities aligned to target customer profiles.
- Own account‑level prospecting strategies in partnership with enterprise sales, making autonomous decisions on outreach approaches, sequencing, and personalization.
- Build a deep understanding of Anaplan’s platform, competitive landscape, and customer use cases to inform prospect conversations and qualification decisions.
- Establish credibility with prospective stakeholders by diagnosing business challenges, articulating value, and determining readiness before advancing opportunities to sales.
- Manage personal performance against defined objectives, using data‑driven decisions to optimize pipeline creation and meeting outcomes.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly metrics related to qualified leads, conversations, and meeting objectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and go‑to‑market partners, providing insights that influence pipeline strategy and revenue impact.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 1–2 years in a commissioned sales role.
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding lead generation, forecasting, and sales objectives.
- Experience calling into Fortune 2000 accounts at C‑XO level.
- High level of energy, drive, passion, initiative, dedication, and integrity.

OTE may start at approximately $75,000, based on level of experience. Base salary ranges from $39,000 to $56,000 USD, with variable components and monthly accelerators that can enable top performers to exceed the stated OTE in year two.
