Position Overview

The role is for an experienced Hematology Business Manager who will manage two existing base territories in Omaha, NE or Minneapolis, MN (preferred Minneapolis). The manager will maximize sales of Pharma Essentia’s product BESREMi® by promoting it to approved, targeted customers and distribution channels, building and executing strategic territory plans, and collaborating with cross‑functional commercial partners to educate customers about the product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate the clinical profile of BESREMi® and pivotal trial data to key customers in hematology‑oncology.
  • Partner with market access, medical teams, and other commercial functions to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Share knowledge across teams and keep abreast of changing clinical and business dynamics.
  • Build, maintain, and apply clinical and business expertise to develop territory business plans.
  • Create specific account/prescriber action plans and use analytics to track progress and achieve goals.
  • Meet and exceed business objectives through thoughtful planning, collaboration, and effective use of strategic tools.
  • Be a subject‑matter expert on disease state, product, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics.
  • Apply creative problem‑solving and a “no job is too big or too small” attitude in a startup environment.
  • Leverage data and sound judgment to evaluate plans, make changes, and address evolving business dynamics.
  • Use CRM for assessing and tracking customer status and progress.
  • Complete sales administrative requirements such as travel & expense, compliance SOPs, and Sunshine reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology, including hematology, solid tumor, or rare disease.
  • Consistent track record of hematology‑oncology sales in academic and community settings.
  • Existing relationships with key customers are highly valued.
  • Experience with new product launches.
  • Preferred: understanding of other commercial functions, start‑up experience, specialty pharmacy knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong leadership presence.
  • Adaptability, ethical conduct, patient‑centric mindset.
  • Creative thinker, strategic problem‑solver, sales hunter mentality.
  • Advanced business acumen and ability to cover large territories autonomously.
  • Track record of performance and passion for patient impact.
