The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for driving adoption and utilization of the Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) portfolio, while supporting the Hemorrhagic (HEM) portfolio within a designated territory. This role partners closely with Territory Managers to execute strategic plans and drive AIS procedure growth through strong clinical partnerships and consistent execution in high‑acuity environments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver on the established annual sales quota for the defined territory.
  • Implement and execute launch strategies developed by leading product education and in‑services, focusing on AIS solutions while supporting HEM portfolio awareness and access as appropriate.
  • Complete a thorough territory analysis to identify key target accounts and partner with the Territory Manager to drive market growth, share gain, and customer engagement.
  • Establish a quarterly business plan outlining key activities and strategies to support product adoption.
  • Prioritize activities and resource allocation toward high‑impact AIS opportunities in alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Build relationships with multiple customers within an account on a daily basis, keeping them informed of new products, supply/inventory, and pricing trends.
  • Support Marketing in developing education programs for physicians and other health professionals to accelerate adoption of new techniques and products.
  • Participate in professional society meetings and trade shows to promote the company’s products.
  • Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge through on‑the‑job training, educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership in the storage, handling, and traceability of rep stock inventory.
  • Ensure effective communication across functional groups, including messaging related to quality management system effectiveness, and work in accordance with quality system procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum education:

    bachelor’s degree or four years of clinical sales experience (Medical device and operating room experience preferred).
  • Strong clinical and product knowledge of the AIS portfolio with a working understanding of HEM solutions; able to communicate this knowledge to customers effectively.
  • Ability to respond to customer questions and resolve challenges.
  • Ability to assess market potential and prioritize accounts and call activity to maximize impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to present and demonstrate technical products in a customer or clinical setting.
  • Ability to drive an automobile and travel to customer sites by conventional means.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 40% of the time.
  • Comfortable working field‑based and traveling within a designated territory.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base/Draw + commission: $160,000, with eligibility to earn commission and/or bonuses.
  • Travel requirement: 40% of time.
