Base Salary: $41,300 to $59,700 annually.
Total Compensation for this position includes base salary, commissions, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.
What You’ll DoAccount managers are responsible for being a business manager and leader for the assigned account package in the Twin Cities market.
They provide value to our customers with the services and solutions available through Viking Electric. The goal is to grow the volume and profitability of the account base and promote all of Viking's products and services in a professional and ethical manner.
You Will- Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and ensure customers use Viking as their primary source of material.
- Promote and sell the people, products, services and solutions of Viking Electric, tailoring a business plan appropriate to each customer's business potential and market needs.
- Work with Account Representatives, Project Team associates and other specialists to ensure the customer receives quality service, resolve customer disputes, coordinate with the credit department to obtain accounts receivable goals, and prospect for new accounts as applicable.
- Minimum of four years combined electrical industry experience, including City Desk, Account Representative, Project Sales, Specialist or Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Strong understanding of electric products and Viking Electric services and solutions.
- Good understanding of the market, competitors, and basic financial skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
Strong selling, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
