Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global commercial organization spanning multiple markets and regions.
  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, incentive plans, and accountability across the sales team.

  • Increase share of wallet within existing customers while developing new accounts, applications, and markets.
  • Create global account plans that identify current business, whitespace opportunities, upcoming platforms, and competitive threats.
  • Build a disciplined pipeline of design-in opportunities and improve the conversion of development projects into production revenue.
  • Lead major contract, pricing, and global supply agreement negotiations.
  • Strengthen forecasting, pipeline management, CRM utilization, pricing discipline, and commercial reporting.
  • Partner with engineering and product development to translate customer challenges into differentiated technical solutions.
  • Work with operations, quality, supply chain, finance, and marketing to support customer launches and profitable growth.
  • Provide executive leadership with accurate reporting on sales performance, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 15 years of progressive sales and commercial leadership experience within engineered components, elastomers, seals, valves, fluid-control products, or a related manufacturing sector.
  • Experience leading a global or multi-regional sales organization.
  • Demonstrated success delivering profitable organic growth with global OEM and Tier 1 customers.
  • Strong understanding of technical selling, long design-in cycles, product qualification, and new-product commercialization.
  • Proven ability to grow strategic accounts while developing new customers and applications.
  • Experience implementing CRM, forecasting, account-planning, and sales-performance processes.
  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing, margins, contracts, budgeting, and commercial planning.
  • Experience serving medical, automotive, electric vehicle, industrial, or other technically demanding markets is preferred.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
Leadership Profile
