We're hiring an Inside Sales Associate to support our growing sales team by managing retailer item setup, assisting current accounts, generating new leads, coordinating trade shows, and keeping our CRM organized. This role is ideal for someone who loves sales, is detail-oriented, and wants to grow into a future sales position. Base salary is $50,000-$70,000 with a structured performance-based bonus. RoleSummary
The Inside Sales Associate supports our sales team by managing retailer item setup, assisting current accounts, building new customer relationships, generating leads, supporting trade shows, and keeping our CRM organized. This role ensures the Director of Sales can focus on high-value selling while day-to-day sales support tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Retailer Item Setup & Account Support- Submit item setup forms and portal entries for retailers
- Maintain accurate product data (UPCs, dimensions, pricing, images, compliance fields)
- Track item approvals and resolve missing information
- Create sell sheets, spec sheets, and retailer-specific product decks
- Support onboarding tasks such as routing guides, vendor agreements, and EDI coordination
- Build prospect lists for hardware stores, distributors, and industrial suppliers
- Run outbound email and call campaigns to generate qualified appointments
- Conduct initial qualification calls and hand off strong opportunities to the Director of Sales
- Maintain CRM accuracy and follow-up tracking
- Attend trade shows around the country
- Coordinate booth logistics, shipments, materials, and schedules
- Capture and categorize leads and enter them into the CRM
- Complete post-show follow-up, schedule demos, and qualify opportunities
- Process tradeshow orders with accurate pricing, product selection, and retailer requirements
- Track post-show pipeline activity and report progress
- Prepare weekly sales dashboards and pipeline reports
- Maintain pricing files, promotional calendars, and retailer program documentation
- Coordinate sample shipments
- Respond to basic customer inquiries
- Interest in sales and customer relationship building
- Strong attention to detail
- CRM experience (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with outbound calls and virtual demos
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Retail item setup or product data experience
- Tradeshow or event coordination
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon)
- Experience in hardware, manufacturing, or consumer products
