Associate National Account Director –
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as central lead educating stakeholders to improve patient access to Gilead long-acting injectable products (especially PrEP).
- Quadruple (quarterback) matrix team (field reimbursement, medical liaisons, nurse educators, national account directors, sales, market access/marketing).
- Gain formulary inclusion, placement on Electronic Medical Records system, and product pathways via assigned account management; work with influencers/decision-makers, pharmacy leadership, and P&T members.
- Build relationships across IDNs, targeted hospitals/systems, and FQHC/community clinics; drive account strategy and contract pull-throughs.
- Align Medical/Sales/Marketing/etc. for integrated customer engagement and product access/coverage.
- Execute call plan for C-suite, pathway, P&T committee members/prescribers; build/manage account profiles and cross-functional account plans.
- Use in-person tactics (visits, contract strategy where appropriate) and provide clinical/efficacy/safety information.
- Lead strategic launch planning across Sales, Market Access, Trade Relations, Value Access, Contracting, Medical, HEOR, and Marketing.
- Support onsite visitation/hospital credentialing requirements as applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree + 10 years’ experience OR Master’s + 8 years OR PhD + 2 years.
Experience:
- Account management/managed markets; HIV/PrEP; contracting; institution new product launch; direct corporate/region/national/key account role; ability to inspire/influence/lead without authority; physician/account strategic plan execution.
- Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication; negotiation; business acumen; analytical skills; project management/multi-tasking; independent matrix leadership.
- Travel 25–50% with overnight travel.

- Salary range $191,250–$247,500
