Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Rochester​/Minneapolis S, MN

Position Summary:

• Drive demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines within a defined territory/region for appropriate patients.
• Engage Health Care Providers (HCPs) with differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
• Build credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact. Field-based; 100% time in field.

• Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
• Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain and grow scientific expertise.
• Prepare and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 (once implemented) for insights and dynamic call plans.
• Provide fair, accurate scientific dialogue using approved resources; conduct in-office presentations.
• Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau-approved); maintain expertise on emerging data.
• Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited and complex technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
• Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; strong credibility-building with customers.
• Account management and sales performance (meeting/exceeding goals); strong cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong selling/promotional skills; cardiovascular experience preferred.

• Customer/commercial mindset; drive business results; problem-solving; patient centricity.

Field (US): $124,090–$150,370; additional incentives may be available (eligibility-based).
