Position Summary

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Guard in Minneapolis, MN. The primary role involves monitoring security systems, documenting incidents, responding to threats, and collaborating with law enforcement and other stakeholders to maintain a safe environment.

This position is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses and Caregivers of war‑wounded individuals.

Minneapolis, MN

Full‑time:
Saturday–Sunday, 2nd shift (4 p.m.–12 a.m.);
Tuesday–Wednesday, 3rd shift (12 a.m.–8 a.m.).

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions in security systems.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED (documentation required).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report‑writing skills.
• Exceptional visual attention and concentration.
• Proficient with technology.
• Military or law‑enforcement experience is a plus.
• Previous security experience is required.
• State license (if required) and valid driver’s license with a clean record.
