Position Summary
CVS Health is looking for a District Asset Protection Leader (DAPL) to drive and support Asset Protection (AP) strategies, including initiatives for Shrink, Safety, and Profit Protection. The DAPL will provide assistance and training to Field, Front Store & Pharmacy teams to address specific Asset Protection and/or Operational issues, develop and support an AP Culture within an assigned span of control, and achieve results through strong business relationships and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Drive and support Asset Protection strategies for assigned areas.
- Provide assistance and training to Field, Front Store & Pharmacy teams on Asset Protection and operational issues.
- Develop and support an AP culture within an assigned span of control.
- Analyze information from reporting tools to determine priorities and provide accurate trend analyses.
- Align with business partners to identify priorities and achieve goals.
- Define accountability with Field Operations teams and identify required actions for desired results.
- Enforce AP and shrinkage control programs to protect assets from loss due to theft and compliance issues.
- Ensure timely follow‑up on plans and programs to guarantee execution.
- Communicate with field teams to provide feedback on initiative progress and course‑correct when appropriate.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (projected to cover West of Nashville).
- 5 years of experience in retail asset protection/loss prevention management.
- 2 years of experience with multiple store responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills.
- LP Qualified (LPQ) or LP Certified (LPC) certifications.
- Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
- BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Word and Excel knowledge required.
- Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations.
- Ability to build strong business relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to function in a team environment.
- Open to giving and accepting constructive criticism.
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
Anticipated weekly hours: 40. Full‑time.
Pay RangeTypical pay range: $54,300.00 – $. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade. Actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base range.
