Summary of Position

We have strong FTO and mentorship programs, state of the art virtual training facility, ongoing commitment to training through BCA and other offsite professional development. We offer rotating opportunities for detective assignments, SWAT, mobile field force, firearms, response to resistance, K-9 and reality-based training instructors. We have a great team of officers who go above and beyond to ensure strong community engagement and exceptional public service.

2026 Pay Range: $44.29-$59.37/hour 2027 Pay Range: $45.84-$61.45/hour Position open until filled with first consideration given to applicants who apply before August 26, 2026

Works under the general guidance and direction of the Shift Sergeant or other superior officers as necessary, to perform law enforcement work in the protection of life, property, and the civil rights of individual citizens. Officers of this rank enforce City, County, State and Federal Statutes, laws and ordinances. Police officers preserve peace; prevent, detect and investigate accidents and crimes; arrest violators;

and provide aid and comfort to citizens in emergency situations. General responsible include traffic, patrol and general law enforcement, policy community relations, and record keeping and reports.

• After 6 years of continuous employment; 5% of the employee’s base rate per month.
