Building Maintenance Technician

Twin City Staffing is seeking 1-2 Building Maintenance Technicians to assist with remodeling and maintenance projects in residential housing units. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of hands-on construction or maintenance experience who enjoy working with tools and learning new skills. Experienced technicians are also encouraged to apply.

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Wage: $23 - $25/hr. (DOE)

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the building maintenance technician:

• Perform light remodeling including installing cabinets and hardware
• Complete basic electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets)
• Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations (sinks, faucets)
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Respond to maintenance issues and participate in on-call rotation

Requirements of the building maintenance technician:

• 6 months - 2 years of construction or maintenance experience
• Ability to travel to worksites across the metro
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Pass pre-employment screenings
