Job Description
Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Roving Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis. This role involves traveling between commercial properties in the Twin Cities and servicing building systems, equipment, and fixtures to meet tenant and owner satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
- Oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
- Perform general repairs and adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.
- Participate in on‑call, after‑hours, and weekend rotation shifts.
- General maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft 365 software experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs, work from a ladder, work overhead, and handle varying weather conditions.
- Preferred:
Boiler operator license; knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
This position requires verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
CompensationBase pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour, with potential for additional compensation through commission and/or incentive programs.
