Maintenance Engineer Second Shift

Position Overview

Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leader in hospitality operations, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Rand Tower in Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The Maintenance Engineer will perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation for a world‑class property.

• Perform general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Repair and maintain HVAC equipment, painting, wall repair, tile work, and preventive maintenance program.
• Conduct general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
• Maintain logs of completed tasks and prepare reports as requested.
• Submit reports and logs promptly to supervisors.

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Strong attention to detail and an engaging, welcoming personality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Hourly rate: $23.00 – $25.00 (actual package based on experience, certifications, and location).
