Field Service Chiller Technician

Field Service Chiller Technician in Shakopee, MN. You will be based out of our Shakopee service center and work in the field with local travel daily.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
• Work independently or in teams to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
• Assist with potential overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience working on diesel power or natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage or kW requirements and reading schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.

• Full-time position with potential for overtime and/or weekends.
• Pay range $36.00 to $50.00 per hour.
