Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in Minneapolis, MN. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties, including pipes, fittings, water supply lines, and drainage systems. Daily work includes troubleshooting issues, performing scheduled maintenance, responding to service calls, and ensuring all work meets building codes and safety standards. The Plumber will interact directly with customers, explain recommended work and options, provide clear estimates, and maintain a clean and safe job site.
The role also involves collaborating with team members and office staff to schedule work efficiently and complete jobs on time.
- Demonstrated proficiency in plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs.
- Hands-on experience with pipes, fittings, and related plumbing components across residential and commercial settings.
- Proven ability in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance and timely response to service issues.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally in occupied homes and businesses.
- Relevant plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and work orders.
- Comfort working on ladders, in confined spaces, and in varied weather conditions, while following safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Minneapolis and western metro area.
