Service Center Glass - Minneapolis. $1,000 Sign-On Bonus – Immediate Opportunities.
JOB SUMMARY:
Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice to learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but are not limited to: replacement of automotive glass following quality standards, and ability to perform repairs on damaged glass; complete pre- and post-inspection with the customer; utilize various tools and scanning equipment; complete documentation of repair orders on a mobile device;
ability to remove and install trim panels and interior parts without damaging them; effectively prioritize and manage time to complete daily tasks.
- Replace automotive glass following quality standards and perform repairs on damaged glass as needed.
- Complete pre- and post-inspection with the customer.
- Utilize various tools and scanning equipment as part of service delivery.
- Document repair orders on a mobile device.
- Remove and install trim panels and interior parts without causing damage.
- Prioritize and manage daily tasks to meet service goals.

- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
- Nice to have, but not required:
Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
