Job Title
Maintenance Technician, Multifamily Junction Flats ()
Responsibilities- Prepare make‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary tasks to provide a quality move‑in experience.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely manner with a professional attitude.
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe.
- Be on call for after‑hour emergency responses as scheduled.
- Report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Adhere to state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
- Attend and participate in required training programs.
- Complete all duties in a timely manner and deliver superior customer service while representing the company professionally.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II and CPO or equivalent local city certificate.
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read/understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain company equipment.
Standing and walking for extended periods; ascending and descending staircases, ladders, and step stools; traveling outside between buildings; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently; commuting up to 10% of the time.
Compensation and BenefitsHourly rate: $23.80 – $28.00. Eligible for health, vision, dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time off.
