Position Overview
Location: Shoreview, MN branch (greater Minneapolis area)
Role: Systems Specialist – responsible for installation, startup, commissioning and system verification of building automation equipment.
Responsibilities- Assist with commissioning new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines; document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies and progress.
- Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader.
- Submit accurate time and expense reports.
- Work overtime when needed; may include compressed schedule performance and extended hours.
- Participate in rotational on‑call and/or minimal overnight travel.
Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Basic: electro‑mechanical experience (previous role or education) and user PC/software skill.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, climb ladders, use hand tools, carry up to 75 pounds.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Minimum age 18, valid driver’s license with limited violations, eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Preferred:
High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
Pay range: $46,553 – $79,805 annually (actual wage may vary).
