Technician - Level 2

Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic and repairs on equipment ranging from aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty equipment such as generators, pumps, HVAC, oil/gas.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Maintain equipment to avoid downtime and ensure safety.
• Work in a safety‑focused, fast‑paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
• Ability to provide own mechanic tools if necessary.
• Spanish or other bilingual skills may be required.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $23.52–$32.34 per hour (starting rate varies by location, education, training, experience). Sign‑On Bonus: $1,500.
