Summary
Bluberi gaming is seeking a Field Services Technician. The Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Bluberi gaming equipment and will be part of our professional Field Service team.
Essential Functions Customer Communications- Deliver the highest level of customer experience through effective communications and professional service interactions with Bluberi customers.
- Maintain contact with the customer on a regular basis while performing work on their machines, including follow‑up after work is completed.
- Install, set up, maintain and reconfigure gaming products.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to the Failing Replaceable Unit (FRU) and return equipment to working order in the field, including swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component.
- Order replacement parts and supplies and manage parts return to disposition location using appropriate packing materials and shipping services.
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance services to promote continuous operation of Bluberi equipment.
- Complete required daily paperwork, including Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports and post‑installation documentation.
- Transport, install, and maintain Bluberi gaming equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
- Manage the remote warehouse of repair components and engage with monthly, quarterly and annual cycle counts and physical inventory requests, executing all necessary paperwork for part transfers, orders and usage.
- Travel frequently, often for extended periods with overnight stays.
- Perform floor walk‑throughs at customer locations to observe Bluberi games, ensuring they are fully functional and properly configured, and take appropriate actions to correct equipment operation.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Respond to dispatches and drive to customer locations within a specified area to repair gaming equipment and communication devices.
- Work closely with scheduling to understand upcoming customer equipment activities, including installations, conversions, removals, or preventative maintenance, and manage all travel requirements necessary.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with Bluberi scheduling and dispatch, reporting service activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions.
- Work closely with Product Management and Sales to provide quality feedback on specific field activities via established communication channels.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Field Service organization to share relevant information and improve collective service capabilities.
- Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a courteous and professional manner, including problem resolution and decision making.
- Basic problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to climb, lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods of time.
- Dexterity when working with tools and moving parts and electrical current.
- Capability to work at heights, in close quarters, and be exposed to inclement weather during installations.
- Physical flexibility to sit, stand, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, lie prone, hold, push, pull, and lower as necessary.
- Safe use of common hand tools (screwdrivers, nut drivers, wrenches, hammers, center punches, drills, multimeters, polarity checkers).
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions and technical manuals, including block diagrams and basic schematics.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL if necessary.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic customer‑service skills, including listening, empathy, tone sensitivity, and communication in various situations.
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Technical or I.T. related training or education is a plus.
- 4+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience; degree or certification in a gaming‑related field highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the casino gaming industry is a strong plus.
