Overview

Safety-Kleen locations in Blaine, Minneapolis, and Eagan MN are seeking a Field Service Technician (known internally as an Equipment Repair Specialist) to join their team. This position will be responsible for completing repairs and maintenance of parts washers at internal and external sites. This is an entry level role that provides opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Repair broken, damaged, or worn equipment at Safety-Kleen and client locations
  • Maintain logs of repairs, breakage rates, customer relationships, equipment characteristics and trends
  • Swap and set up replacement equipment
  • Maintain inventories, tools, and other equipment
  • Perform repairs and routine maintenance on equipment
  • Drive to client sites and Safety-Kleen locations as required
  • Travel up to 1-2 nights per week
  • Use various mobile devices for work tasks
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Complete background check, drug test, and physical as required by position
  • Demonstrate mechanical, electrical, or appliance repair skills
  • Demonstrate organizational skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Entry-level role with opportunities for growth within the company
  • Ability to travel to various sites and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
