The Drywall Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area. This role oversees daily drywall operations, including planning and coordinating crew activities for metal stud framing, hanging, taping, finishing, sanding, and touch-ups. The Drywall Supervisor will review plans and specifications, schedule and prioritize tasks, and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used safely. Responsibilities include monitoring quality and productivity, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues related to workmanship, safety, and sequencing with other trades.

The role also involves training and mentoring crew members, tracking labor and material usage, communicating project status to management and clients, and supporting jobsite safety and cleanliness standards.

• Strong hands-on experience with metal stud framing, drywall hanging, taping, and finishing, including layout, measurements, and reading blueprints.
• Proven field supervision skills, including crew leadership, task delegation, performance coaching, and conflict resolution on active jobsites.
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and ability to enforce safe work procedures and site housekeeping.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules, and coordinate drywall work with other trades and project phases.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with crew members, subcontractors, site supervisors, and clients, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to plan daily work, track progress, and meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Experience in commercial and/or residential construction environments; drywall supervision experience in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul market preferred.
• Comfort using basic construction technology and tools (e.g., smartphones/tablets for timekeeping, job updates, and documentation).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to various worksites, and ability to perform the physical requirements of the role (standing, lifting, climbing, and working at heights).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, trade certifications, or apprenticeship completion in carpentry or drywall trades is a plus.
