Enjoy working in an air-conditioned shop! As a trailer technician, you will complete DOT inspections, aluminum welding of new tarps and cat walks, PM services, and various repairs.

Perform routine maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers, trucks/vehicles, and related equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear. Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild. Provide after-sale services, such as component installation.

Performs some fabricating, welding (stick, wire feed, braze, solder) cutting (gas, plasma, saws) riveting, and fiberglass repair. Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress. Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service. CDL is a plus, but not required. Valid DL with good driving record. This is an atmosphere that is driven by customer satisfaction, accuracy of diagnostics, and efficient repairs.
