Qualifications:

A Journeyman Electrical License valid in the State of Minnesota. 3+ years of experience as an industrial or machine services electrician. In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and machinery and professional experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems. Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including OSHA and NFPA standards.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as required. May be required to successful complete location specific training to maintain eligibility for position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components of production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and wiring. Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure machinery uptime and optimal performance. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems as necessary to improve machine performance or safety. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and solve complex equipment issues.

Follow safety guidelines and company protocols for lockout/tagout, electrical work, and equipment operation. Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance and reliability. Assist in the planning and implementation of new equipment installations and modifications. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
