Scott County is currently accepting applications for the position of Equipment Mechanic.
All required tools are provided!
This position performs highly skilled work maintaining, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, heavy equipment, and gas- and diesel-powered construction equipment in a manner to ensure that all equipment is safe, equipment life is maximized. Work includes weekends, nights, and holidays as required by weather and maintenance conditions.
MQs:
Requires equivalency of HS graduation, valid driver's license, and 4 years' experience repairing and maintaining vehicles, machinery, and heavy equipment; to include work on diesel engines.
Within 18 months of hire, one must obtain a Class B CDL and a Class A commercial driver’s license within 24 months.
MN Vehicle Inspector and Air-Conditioning Systems certifications must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Hiring Range: $33.68 to $39.63 per hour – DOQ. Closing: 8/23/26 at midnight.
