Maintenance Engineer (Roving

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Roving Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis
. This role will involve traveling to and servicing various commercial properties around the Twin Cities.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Perform or oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
• Perform general repairs and adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.

• General maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Participation in on‑call, after‑hours, and weekend rotation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, sniff smoke and other chemicals, and work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

• Boiler operator license.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make necessary adjustments and general repairs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Software.

• Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

The base pay is $28.00 – $38.00 per hour, with potential additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
