Productivity Inc seeks an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to install, service, and support smart vending equipment in manufacturing environments. You'll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues, perform preventative maintenance, and integrate systems with CNC machinery and automation. Work closely with engineers, technicians, and customers to improve uptime and productivity on the shop floor. Ideal candidates bring hands-on technical skills, strong diagnostics, and customer-facing professionalism in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service smart vending and automated tooling equipment at customer manufacturing sites
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and controls issues on vending machines, CNC-related automation, and robotics interfaces
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
- Configure PLCs, sensors, and networking on smart vending systems; verify operation and connectivity
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff on safe, efficient use and basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Document service activities, parts usage, and findings in service reports and internal systems
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and applications teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance
- Support equipment installations, relocations, and integrations into existing manufacturing workflows
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures while representing Productivity Inc at customer sites
