Concrete Finisher
A commercial concrete contractor is seeking a reliable, hard-working Concrete Finisher for a full-time role. This position focuses on forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on a variety of commercial and residential projects, with the opportunity for year-round employment through participation in the snow removal division.
Responsibilities- Form sidewalks, entries, steps, and other concrete structures according to project specifications.
- Pour concrete accurately and efficiently to ensure proper coverage and structural integrity.
- Finish concrete surfaces to the required texture and appearance, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform all aspects of general construction labor related to concrete work, including site preparation and cleanup.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and rebar effectively and safely as part of daily tasks.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of forms, equipment, and materials at job sites.
- Participate in snow removal operations during winter months as part of year-round work.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support project completion and crew productivity.
- 3 years of commercial and/or residential concrete finishing experience required.
- Experience in set-up and finishing of all aspects of concrete work.
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing tools and their proper use.
- Ability to perform physically demanding construction labor, including kneeling, bending, lifting, working in and around pours, and operating wheelbarrows and shovels.
- Proficiency in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for a variety of structures.
- Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and working with rebar in a construction environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial and/or residential concrete finishing experience preferred.
- CDL A license preferred.
- Heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
- Willingness to participate in a company-supported CDL program.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a field crew and follow directions on active job sites.

WorkEnvironment
Work takes place primarily outdoors in both summer and winter conditions on active construction sites. Crew members typically report to the shop at approximately 5:30 AM, travel to the job site by around 6:30 AM, and work until about 3:30–4:30 PM, depending on project needs. The environment involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, and rebar, as well as participation in snow removal operations during the winter.
Team members should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, variable weather, and a fast-paced field setting.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
