Hennepin County is seeking volunteer mentors for Veterans Treatment Court to support justice-involved veterans in overcoming challenges related to substance use and mental health. This unpaid position serves both remotely and in-person.
Volunteers will mentor veterans for 1-2 hours weekly, helping them complete their treatment plans, and gain valuable knowledge on veteran issues. Ideal candidates will have veteran status and good interpersonal skills. This opportunity includes training and ongoing support.
