Position Summary

The Program & Field Manager supports adults experiencing housing instability or homelessness by delivering coordinated employment, housing, and support services. This role combines field supervision, case coordination, and community outreach to reduce barriers to employment and housing while providing hands‑on vocational training through community service work. The ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple competing priorities, and shift gears as needed is essential.

Most duties in this position are performed within established guidelines, with regular assignments and deadlines. In collaboration with a moderate number of internal and external contacts and support partners, this position helps ensure the effectiveness and compliance of Tasks Unlimited’s outreach operations. This is a grant‑funded position with an anticipated end date. If additional funding becomes available, the position may be extended, and there may also be opportunities to continue your employment in other roles at Tasks.

Field

Supervision & Operations (30%)
  • Supervise and support assigned employee crews in the field
  • Assign schedules, routes, and job tasks to meet contract requirements
  • Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with organizational and customer standards
  • Provide coaching, instruction, and performance feedback tailored to individual needs
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and reinforce workplace expectations
  • Manage transportation logistics, equipment, inventory, and vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and timely completion
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety expectations
Employment Services and Job Development (10%)
  • Develop and support individualized employment goal plans
  • Identify employment barriers and provide targeted support
  • Deliver job readiness coaching and skill development
  • Support participants in securing and maintaining employment
Community Outreach and Housing Support (30%)
  • Build and maintain partnerships with landlords, referral sources, and community providers
  • Conduct outreach to identify and engage potential participants
  • Assist participants in accessing emergency shelter and housing resources
  • Support housing search activities including site visits and application completion
  • Connect participants to appropriate housing options
Case Coordination and Participant Support (10%)
  • Facilitate participant intake, orientation, and program engagement
  • Maintain ongoing contact to assess progress and update service plans
  • Coordinate access to housing, mental health, employment, and community services
  • Support participants in building independent living skills and support networks
  • Monitor progress toward employment and housing stability goals
  • Manage documentation and service delivery in a timely manner
Documentation and Compliance (10%)
  • Complete service documentation, reports, payroll, and case notes accurately
  • Maintain required participant data for funding and reporting
  • Utilize required systems and tools for tracking
Program Support and Team Collaboration (10%)
  • Participate in team meetings and program coordination
  • Support program admissions and discharges
  • Stay informed on best practices in housing and mental health services
  • Assist with organizational events and outreach

Work Environment and Equipment
