As the Housing Operations Coordinator, you are a critical connector between residents, case managers, and systems like Housing Support and MNsure. Your work ensures that benefits are secured, documentation is accurate, and funding flows appropriately — directly supporting residents in maintaining housing and accessing care.

This is a fully in-person role based at Avivo Village, must be available to work Fridays. And yes — Avivo is a 32-hour work week organization, offering full-time pay and benefits while supporting balance and sustainability in your work.
What You'll Do- Coordinate and oversee Housing Support paperwork, intakes, and benefit documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Review, submit, and track documentation with Hennepin County and other benefit systems
- Serve as a liaison between Avivo Village and county partners to resolve complex Housing Support cases
- Support residents with MNsure enrollment and renewal as a Certified Application Counselor
- Monitor benefit eligibility, track discrepancies, and ensure continuity of services
- Manage housing support billing coordination, including eligibility checks, receivables tracking, and discrepancy reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in electronic health record systems
- Coordinate communication, documentation, and workflows to support case managers and program operations
- Train and support staff on Housing Support processes and compliance requirements
- Collaborate across teams to ensure effective, coordinated service delivery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience working with public benefits (MNsure, Housing Support, or similar systems)
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness
- Experience using electronic health record systems (Credible preferred)
- Ability to manage complex documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and systems
- Knowledge of public benefits systems, housing resources, and community services
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Ability to work fully in-person, must be able to work Fridays
