6)
Northport Elementary School. Salary: $54,316 - $67,336 plus full‑time benefits. Monday‑Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, with 2 evenings/weekends required. 52 weeks. Posted open until filled.
SummaryThis position is sponsored by the Robbinsdale Area Redesign Family Services Collaborative. The position reports to the Community Resource and Partnership Specialist. Under general supervision, coordinates and supports Full‑Service Community Schools; develops programs through community partnerships by collaboration, resource sharing, and data tracking.
Essential Functions- Establish a school leadership team as defined by the Full‑Service Community Schools model.
- Conduct needs assessment and asset mapping to inform the development of a FSCS implementation plan.
- Coordinate and support the implementation and alignment of FSCS to needs of the community and the District Vision.
- Conduct ongoing resource mapping and needs assessments to inform program deliverables.
- Seek out and recruit new community partners to meet the needs identified in the FSCS site plan.
- Collaborate with principal, Redesign stakeholders, teachers, students, and families on implementation priorities and logistics for the purpose of fulfilling requirements for full‑service community schools.
- Facilitate collaboration and cross‑referrals between the school district, families, and community partners.
- Participate in Redesign Family Services Collaborative Board meetings to support partnership development, resource coordination, community engagement, and implementation of collaborative priorities.
- Participate in community committees and events to increase community engagement efforts.
- Coordinate daily program operations; evaluate and analyze program issues and recommend and implement solutions.
- Promote and market the work of Full‑Service Community Schools to stakeholders using various communication platforms and tools.
- Complete and coordinate special projects and research assignments.
- Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with students, clients, visitors, and RAS staff; act in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
- Collect data and maintain records in compliance with FSCS requirements and district data privacy practices.
- Perform other duties or tasks assigned as needed.
- Occasionally work outside normal business hours and extended hours to accomplish the requirements of the position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferred: AA degree or completion of 90 quarter (60 semester) college credits in Education, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field; AND two (2) years of experience working in community program strategy and development; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by Human Resources.
Knowledge of
- Applicable policies, procedures, and regulations covering the specific areas of assignment.
- Grant and project reporting, including data collection and evaluation.
- Community and family engagement strategies.
- Local community resources, regional community services programs, and regional training programs.
- Strategy development, service implementation, and program evaluation efforts.
- Personal computers utilizing standard software, and specialized RAS and state agency software applications and procedures.
- Principles of record keeping and records management.
- Safety rules and regulations.

License and Certification Requirements A valid Minnesota State Driver's License may be required.
Physical Demands and Working Environment Work is performed in a standard office environment which requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. A job in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and heavy phone usage.
