AI Engineer, Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Creed Interactive
500 S Washington Ave
Suite 2060
Minneapolis, MN 55415, USA
Creed is digital. Ignited by uncommon dedication. We are experts in digital design, technology development, and consultative digital strategy that is anchored in teamwork. Creed is proud to provide custom digital solutions and design work for clients including local nonprofits, small to medium-sized businesses, and Fortune 500s.
We are building an innovation lab focused on turning bold ideas into working software—fast. As a Senior Developer, you’ll lead the charge from concept to prototype to early production, shipping new products and experiments that help shape what we build next while supporting and maintaining launched products over time. This role is for an experienced, highly adaptable engineer who can move fluidly across front-end, backend, and Dev Ops with minimal direction.
A big part of how we work: we actively optimize our development process using modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity). We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just “use” AI tools, but thoughtfully integrates them into their workflow—improving speed, quality, and clarity while maintaining strong engineering judgment. You’ll help define how an AI-accelerated team builds software responsibly and efficiently.
If you’re ready to join a team that is “All In” on finding creative solutions to complex digital, Creed is the place for you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAs a Senior Developer at Creed Interactive, you will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Rapid prototyping & iteration- Build prototypes and MVPs quickly, balancing speed with sound engineering decisions.
- Translate ambiguous ideas into practical solutions, making smart tradeoffs and documenting decisions clearly.
- Run experiments to validate assumptions (technical and product), then iterate based on results.
- Design and implement end-to-end features across front-end (React, Tailwind), backend services (Node, microservices), and data (Postgres).
- Architect lightweight systems that can evolve—starting simple, scaling thoughtfully as traction grows.
- Debug across the stack and resolve issues independently, even in unfamiliar areas.
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity) to accelerate implementation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code review preparation.
- Continuously refine your workflow to get the best outcomes from AI tools (prompting strategies, agentic workflows, evaluation habits, guardrails).
- Help establish team patterns for AI-assisted development: quality standards, safe usage, reproducible approaches, and measurable gains.
- Make strong architectural calls when needed, without over-engineering.
- Raise the bar on code quality while still optimizing for speed and learning.
- Mentor teammates by sharing workflows, patterns, and tools—especially around AI-accelerated development.
- Ability to productively work with business stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and translate them into working software solutions.
- Apply secure development fundamentals and sensible safeguards, especially when shipping quickly.
- Build with maintainability in mind: clean interfaces, good tests where they matter most, and clear documentation.
- Collaborate closely with product/design stakeholders, giving technical feedback that improves feasibility and execution.
- React + Vite
- Node / Nest
- Microservices / Containerization
- Web Sockets
- TypeORM
- CI/CD
- Experience working in an innovation lab, R&D team, startup, or “0→1” product environment.
- Built internal developer tooling or improved team velocity via automation, templates, CI improvements, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization/orchestration patterns (Docker, serverless, or Kubernetes).
- Experience with observability tooling (structured logging, tracing, metrics, error monitoring) and performance tuning in…
