The annual salary for this position is between $120,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

• Developing solutions using RAG architecture patterns and vector databases utilizing Azure AI Services, FAISS, etc.
• Lead initiatives in Prompt Engineering to create robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and implement advanced architectures that utilize Prompt Designing and Semantic Search to optimize system performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Vector DB and Large Language Models into existing frameworks enhancing data retrieval and processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural strategies with business goals and objectives ensuring maximum impact and value.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development and system design promoting innovation and excellence

• 8+ years of development and architectural experience.
• Expertise in Python programming with a good understanding of other modern programming languages (Java, C#).
• Experience in developing full-stack applications using React.js and Typescript.
• Experience in building applications using Rest API architecture, including Auth Flows, Encryption, and Observability.
• Experience in building and deploying GenAI, Agentic AI applications using either MCP, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Semantic Kernel, autogen, Azure AI Foundry
• Proficiency in Git Hub Copilot for accelerated development and an understanding of Copilot Studio.
• Fundamental understanding of AI/ML models and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes, CI/CD Pipelines, and container orchestration
