Mid-Level Automation Engineer - UI

The Mid-Level Automation Engineer will support the development, enhancement, and execution of scalable UI automation test suites across Client's digital platforms.

This role focuses on regression coverage, reusable component development, and mobile test execution for Online Banking (OLB), CAS, and Mobile platforms.

• Develop and maintain automated UI test cases using Playwright (Java) for both web and mobile applications.
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and test data abstraction layers.
• Collaborate with QA leads and developers to ensure testable requirements and early defect detection.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and support test case traceability and reporting.
• Assist with mobile automation coverage using Appium integrated with Robot Framework.

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation with a focus on UI testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (Java) or similar frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Exposure to mobile automation using frameworks like Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience working in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

• Experience using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework logs, Allure, Report Portal, or Power BI for reporting.
• Experience with Test Data Portal (TDP) for test data provisioning and conditioning.
• Knowledge of UI automation patterns and test data management best practices.
