Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer who will focus on developing Python software for drivers on Test Equipment. The role involves separating low-level instrument communication from high-level test procedures to ensure streamlined operations.

• Efficiently develop Python software in an automated test system environment.
• Distill system-level requirements into individual specifications for electrical and software components and select appropriate hardware and software solutions.
• Effectively troubleshoot the systems associated with the Python program, including software and other aspects of the Test System.
• Write technical documentation including specifications, verification procedures, and reports.
• Test prototypes and/or production systems.

• Proficiency in Python and software development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, specifically in C++/C#/Python.
• Experience in developing software for test systems.
• Knowledge of SVN or other software version control systems.
• Experience in Medical Device Software Development Life Cycle.

• Experience in software development is required.
• Understanding of test procedures and system troubleshooting.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $85.00/hr.
