Front-End Developer (Contract) – Minneapolis, MN
Akkodis is seeking a Front-End Developer for a contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The candidate will build responsive front‑end applications using React while collaborating across Java and Spring Boot services to deliver seamless user experiences.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks to deliver high‑quality front‑end experiences.
- Integrate front‑end components with backend services built on Java and Spring Boot through RESTful APIs.
- Implement reusable UI components, state management (e.g., Redux), and optimized workflows to support scalable application development.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless feature development and system consistency.
- Utilize AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, Route 53, and API Gateway to support cloud‑based deployments and application operations.
- Troubleshoot UI issues, improve performance, and maintain clean, efficient code aligned with modern development best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in front‑end development with strong React expertise.
- Proven proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks for building responsive applications.
- Strong backend capability in Java and Spring Boot, along with hands‑on experience working with RESTful services and AWS components.
$49.00 to $53.00 per hour
