Position ResponsibilitiesThis role operates at the intersection of software development and compliance, driving the creation of complex, high-quality systems while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. The position requires ownership of both development and documentation to support reliable, scalable, and audit‑ready solutions.
- Design, develop, and support software features across integrated systems
- Translate system functionality into clear, testable software requirements
- Maintain and contribute to software design documentation
- Support verification efforts including planning and traceability
- Participate in risk management activities such as hazard analysis and FMEA
- Ensure alignment between requirements, implementation, and validation
- Collaborate with QA and cross‑functional teams to ensure release readiness
- Identify documentation gaps and implement process improvements
- Guide team members on best practices for requirements and compliance documentation
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience working in regulated environments
- Experience developing and maintaining complex systems
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and frameworks
- Experience with requirements management and traceability
- Knowledge of software design documentation practices
- Experience with risk and verification planning
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory submissions
- Prior experience mentoring or guiding engineering teams
