Test automation skills within Service Now
Whole engineering team is in MN – Minneapolis only for work location
Minneapolis-based; minimum of 3 days in office
Contract
Hybrid
Required Skillset:- Holds active Service Now CSA and CAD certifications
- Experienced in Service Now core, not just in one specific module such as GRC, WSD, etc.
- Portal experience, preferably with EC Pro
- Strong workflow skills
- Business acumen
- Experience building custom apps on the Service Now platform
- Service Now VA skills
- Now Assist experience (including custom skills)
- Familiarity with agentic AI
- 5 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3 plus years of Service Now experience in building, implementing, and maintaining platform technologies, workflows and integrations
- 2 plus years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 2 plus years of Agile experience
- Valid Service Now CSA (Certified Systems Administrator) certification
Qualifications:
- Service Now CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification
- Custom application development within Service Now
- Advanced oral, written and presentation communications including the ability to present technical information in a way that nontechnical audiences will understand
- Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
- Experience educating/mentoring less experienced staff
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex multifaceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Must be Service Now CSA certified.
- Must have CAD certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
