Interim Forward Deployed Engineer

Join a leading enterprise organization as a Forward Deployed Engineer
, partnering directly with business and technology teams to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that solve complex operational challenges. This role combines hands‑on software engineering with customer‑facing problem solving, translating business needs into scalable, production‑ready AI applications.

Location: 3 days a week in Downtown Minneapolis

Hourly Rate: $90-110/hr

• Design and rapidly develop AI‑driven applications, copilots, and workflow automation solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver practical technical solutions.
• Build secure integrations with enterprise platforms and APIs.
• Ensure solutions align with security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to drive AI adoption and continuous improvement.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong Python development skills.
• 2+ years of experience building AI/ML applications, including Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI solutions.
• Experience designing APIs and deploying applications in large enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in highly regulated or security‑conscious environments is a plus.
