SAP BTP Architect​/Lead

$70/HR on W2

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect / Lead to design, implement, and oversee enterprise‑grade solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role requires both hands‑on technical expertise and strategic leadership to guide teams in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions integrated with SAP S/4

HANA and non‑SAP systems.

• Define, design, and implement end‑to‑end SAP BTP architectures, covering Extension Suite, Integration Suite, and HANA Cloud.
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BTP solutions.
• Provide governance, design reviews, and best practices for SAP BTP development.
• Development & Integration
• Architect and oversee development of custom applications using SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js, ABAP Cloud, and Business Application Studio.
• Lead integration using SAP CPI/Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, OData/REST APIs, and third‑party connectors.
• Ensure secure, reliable data exchange between SAP and external systems.
• Team & Project Management
• Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to SAP BTP best practices, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams across SAP S/4
  
  HANA, Analytics, and Cloud services.
• Drive delivery from discovery and design through build, test, deployment, and hyper‑care.
• Stay up to date on SAP BTP advancements, including AI Core, SAP Build (Apps/Process Automation), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Signavio.
• Advise on modernization strategies, cloud migration, and extensibility using latest SAP cloud technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years SAP experience, including 3–5 years in SAP BTP architecture/lead roles.
• BTP Services:
  Integration Suite (CPI, API Mgmt, Event Mesh), Extension Suite, HANA Cloud.
• Development: CAP, RAP, Node.js, ABAP Cloud, SAPUI5/Fiori.
• Integration: REST/OData APIs, event‑driven patterns, hybrid integrations with SAP/non‑SAP systems.
• Experience leading full‑cycle BTP implementations, including architecture design, deployment, and support.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

• SAP Certified Development Associate / SAP BTP Architect certification.
• Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Build Work Zone, AI/ML services.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, manufacturing).
