Senior Data Integration Programmer

Common and Baseline Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data through regular audits and controls.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement changes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support project managers in tracking project budgets and financial performance.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs.
• Integrate and process data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, CSV, Excel, TXT, XML, and JSON files.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes and Power BI datasets.
• Build custom ETL components and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing.
• Design and maintain data models, database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows and SQL Agent jobs.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead software development projects and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of professional services industry workflows (project accounting, billing, time & expense, budgeting, CRM).

• MS SQL Server, MS SQL Integration Services, Excel.
• Proven experience developing and integrating APIs using C# or Python and Postman.
• Strong experience working with and parsing XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience working with Deltek APIs and integration frameworks.
• Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field required.
