Job Description
As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect our products, critical assets, and customer data. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect our products and customer data.
- Develop and integrate Agentic AI workflows with ongoing Product Cyber services and development practices.
- Directly enable efficient, effective Product Cyber processes through automation and system integration.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate product security services into the software development lifecycle and our products.
- Support product security services that issue millions of product certificates and sign tens of millions of product elements each year.
- 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, preferably with a cyber focus, in Java, Groovy, and/or Python.
- Understanding of common AI usage models with a drive to integrate this into our secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Basic knowledge of product security concepts, public key infrastructures, and system integration.
- Interest in learning new disciplines and then helping others leverage those better.
- Understanding of SSDLC and Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their security models.
- Hands on experience with several of the following: JIRA, Service Now, Ubiquity, Jenkins, Claude, Git Hub, Software Composition Analysis Tools, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
