We are seeking an Application Developer to join Esri’s Geo Experience Center team, where you will contribute to building prototype applications that explore digital cartography, advanced map visualizations, and web-based GIS experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design and implementation of user experiences for web applications, digital cartographic visualizations, and interactive map-based workflows
- Work with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue to build targeted, stand-alone web applications and reusable UI components
- Collaborate with core development and SDK teams during release development sprints, providing feedback on APIs, beta capabilities, tools, workflows, documentation, and developer experience
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
- Experience with code management systems and CI/CD
- Foundational understanding of digital cartography, data visualization, or geospatial application development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25–50%

- Interest in geospatial technology and applying innovative approaches to solve complex visualization and application development challenges
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
