Sr. Full Stack Developer

We're looking for a collaborative Sr. Full Stack Developer to join a team focused on supporting mission-critical financial systems while helping build modern, scalable applications. This role is primarily backend-oriented with some frontend work, and it offers the opportunity to contribute to both legacy platform support and new system development in an agile, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software solutions that support vendor funding and financial systems.
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications by helping develop distributed, scalable replacement systems.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
• Partner closely with teammates in a collaborative environment that values pairing, feedback, and shared problem-solving.
• Support both backend services and frontend features as needed to deliver complete solutions.
• Help uphold strong engineering practices, including code quality, simplicity, and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in a JVM-based language such as Java or Groovy.
• Solid experience with test-driven development.
• Willingness and ability to pair program effectively.
• At least 5 years of professional development experience.
• Background in full stack development with a strong emphasis on backend work.
• Ability to contribute in an agile team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building services using REST, HTTP, and JSON.
• Working knowledge of Spring Framework.
• Experience with data stores such as Postgres or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Comfort working in Linux/bash environments.
• Exposure to open source technologies such as Apache or Tomcat.
• Frontend experience with React or similar JavaScript single-page application frameworks.
• Experience with Big Query.
• Leadership experience and a collaborative, growth-minded approach.
